Building stronger Texas communities through charity, fellowship, and unforgettable lodge traditions since 1990.
For more than thirty years, Stephenville Elks Lodge #2834 has stood as a proud pillar of Erath County, located right on West Hyman Street. Walk through our doors any Thursday night and you’ll smell slow-smoked brisket, hear laughter echoing from the game room, and see neighbors pitching in to pack care boxes for local veterans. Founded by a handful of ranchers and teachers who believed “Elks Care—Elks Share,” our lodge has quietly raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Texas children’s hospitals, scholarships, and veteran support programs. Whether you’re a lifelong Stephenville resident or new to town, you’ll find genuine handshakes, honest conversation, and a place where your time and talents truly matter. From our annual Hoop Shoot free-throw contest on the courthouse square to holiday food drives that feed over 200 families each December, every event carries the same simple promise: when you give back, you become part of something bigger than yourself.
